Los Angeles: the land of palm trees, blazing sun, the Aahs greeting card store, some Mormons, and a bunch of lady-loving women. Michelle owned a children’s clothing company and Barbara was a hot young photographer. One evening, stars twinkling as the two prepare for a photo shoot involving previously stated children’s clothing. Barbara gives Michelle a massage and their friendship takes a turn for the…better. Michelle Boyaner is a filmmaker and writer. Barbara Green is a cinematographer, director, and editor. Together, the two make up Greenie Films and have collaborated on a number of projects including the feature length documentary A Finished Life: The Goodbye & No Regrets Tour, Tina Paulina: Living On Hope Street, You’re Still Young, ​and most recently, the documentary Packed In A Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson​, which tells the story of the incredible artist Edith Lake Wilkinson, committed to an asylum in 1924 and never heard from again, as her great-niece tries to piece together the mystery surrounding Edith’s life and art. ​Packed In A Trunk​ is available on HBO.
