This week on The Easy Chair: “Bury My Heart at Bowling Green.” It’s a moving fauxmoir, as told by Amber Grain, sole survivor of the Bowling Green Massacre of 2011. Once, she was Bowling Green University’s biggest fan and female professional mascot, Frieda Falcon. Then, one fateful day Amber’s life would change forever. It has taken years and hardcore intervention by various government agencies for Amber to heal from the trauma of this terrible event, but she wants to tell the world the painful details as they have been told to her, lest we ever again forget what never actually happened.
