Make Me Like It Episode Twenty-Two: PUNS with Asperger’s Are Us

September 8, 2016

Asperger's Are Us Dan Klein Kelly Hudson

Puns are the seagulls of comedy… or the pigeons. We’re talking low-hanging, plentiful fruit here, folks. Lots of people sling ’em and the biggest response we can muster is a “you got me” or a long, exasperated groan. But some people don’t believe this. In fact, there are a lot of comics out there who absolutely love this stuff. Such as, Asperger’s Are Us, the first all-openly-autistic comedy troupe. This is also another first for us: having a comedy troupe on our show as a guest!

Asperger’s Are Us consists of Jack Hanke, New Michael Ingemi, Noah Britton and Ethan Finlan. As it turns out, there was no Todd. That was just Jack Hanke. A Netflix documentary about their big summer tour produced by the Duplass brothers is coming soon!
