    Yo yo BellBabies! The guys are back this week with Drew Difonzo Marks (Last Day of School) in The Weight Room. It's been a long time coming to get Drew on the pod and boy does he deliver. This episode has everything! Drew tells a story about how he lost his pants in restaurant after a boxing class - you'll have to listen to find out if he was wearing underwear or not. Also, Drew has interesting relationships with food and exercise spanning the globe, well Amsterdam and America. He's in a great place now and gets very candid and real about how he got there - a lot of people will be able to relate to his feelings. "Ain't nothin to it but to do it!"

    You are in for a treat BellBabies! The 'Bells bring comedian Jenny Yang (Busy Tonight) into The Weight Room! Jenny is so funny and regales Euge and Stanger with her stories about growing up in the South Bay of Los Angeles and discovering shitty American food for the first time and going nuts. She also tells the guys about playing all the sports with her brothers. She even went on to play volleyball in college! Jenny had an entire other career in politics and it took her leaving all of that and becoming a comedian to truly become healthy. Bonus: wait till you hear her fitness goal - it's AMAZING!     Hey there BellBabies! It's the end of February and Stang and Euge have a good one for ya. The charming and hilarious Lou Wilson (American Vandal) joins the 'Bells in The Weight Room. Lou is an LA native with a truly unique story. He tells the guys about growing up in a loving, supportive family that tried to help him be healthy while they all struggled with their own health. Lou gets candid about rebelling with food and how learning to cook was initially bad for his him. He is in a great place now but it was interesting road getting there involving a very weird sport, P90x, a great workout buddy and the same playlist for years. You gotta listen to this one dudes! Lou is one of a kind.

    It’s your monthly dose of Just the ‘Bells. Euge actually gets Stang’ to explain some of his mysterious, neurotic training quirks. Also both of the guys lay out what they are currently doing and what’s challenging them. They talk about motivation and food. Last they answer two listener questions: one about how to balance an over developed dominate side with the other side and how to maintain cardiovascular fitness while still gaining strength for a firefighter. “No days off!!!!”

Stanger, Euge and Sarah also touch on various fad diets that have popped up through the years as well as navigating through a grocery store. The show opens up with some discussion about horror movies and the most recent Halloween. Then the boys start talking fitness. McCabe talks about his upbringing in Bakersfield and how his family deals with fitness and nutrition - it’s good and bad. Then they get to the bottom of why people slip into bad habits and how to break out. Last, McCabe shares personal experience with the two extremes and gives some advice about how to get back on track!”Light Weight Babyeee!!!”

    It’s Dumbbells time babies! The man, Dan Lippert, is in The Weight Room - you know him from the Teachers Lounge podcast. Dan is a super funny dude with a great perspective on things. He tells the ‘Bells about growing up super tall and only playing basketball for a portion of his childhood despite everyone thinking he should be a basketball player. The guys help him with some back and shoulder issues and as a group they come up with a plan of action to get him into a gym and working with a trainer. *HINT* it involves him owning being a basketball player! Dan is a great guy and this is a fun episode! “Light Weight Babyeee!!!”.

    Holy smokes!!! Hayes Davenport (Hollywood Handbook, The Flagrant Ones) is the damn Weight Room. Hayes is a very funny dude and he brings it this episode. The ‘Bells get the lowdown on how he grew up with a star athlete for a younger brother. They learn about the Lord of The Rings loving nerds he rowed crew with in high school. They learn about being his motivation for being a vegetarian (it’s not his wife!) and Hayes learns what be needs to do to start a consistent workout program and do 5 pull ups in 2019. This is one for the ages BellBabies! “Ain’t nothin to it but to do it!!”

    Eugene had a CRAZY busy year that really challenged how much time he could spend with exercise. He and Stanger talk all about what he did right and where he could improve.     It’s another Dumbbells family episode!!! The powerful Stone Stanger makes a triumphant return to The Weight Room. This is a wild episode to say the least. Stone does a lot of different voices and even whispers some of his answers to give you an idea of how off the rails this one went. Stone, Eug and Stang have some fun talking about Christmas presents and even manage to get in some talk about nutrition and school lunches.     Happy New Year BellBabies!!! It’s been one hell of year for the ‘Bells and they really appreciate you guys putting them in your ears. For their first episode of 2019 the Guys welcome Charlie Sanders (Key and Peele, Weird City) to The Weight Room. Charlie and Eug go waaaaaaaaay back, like almost to the beginning. They talk about their first impressions of each other and how Eug could be a little brutal at times. Then Charlie tells his story and how his unsupportive father caused him to squander some natural strength and made him miss the boat on sports. But his story has a happy ending as he found gyms at different times of his life and his wife really helped him get on the right track. Also, Charlie had a bad experience with a gym and the guys encourage him to rant about it; everyone lays out what you should expect from your gym. Happy New Year!!!“2019 is gonna be LIT!!!”

    Merry Christmas BellBabies!!! The ‘Bells welcome Ryan Rosenberg (Big Grande) to The Weight Room. “Rose” is so funny and relatable, his story is a Christmas present to everyone out there trying to get fit. He and Stanger grew up close to each other and they talk about it!! Also, Rose comes from a family where sports were encouraged and he had a sister that was a baller but he never felt like he measured up. He tells the guys all about his on again off again relationship with exercise, how he lost a ton of weight, gained some back and is going to lose it again. Rose had been through it all and is very candid. This is the perfect episode for the holidays and to jumpstart you into the new year!”Merry Christmas you cotton candy eatin mother fuckers!!!”

    Euge and Stange are back at it in full force. This week they got Beth Appel (Everything Is Rent podcast) to chop it up with them in The Weight Room. Beth is a musical theater aficionado so Stanger grills Euge and her on all things musical. Then they get into it! Beth has a very relatable fitness origin story - she tells the guys about growing up in Colorado playing scoccer (but never loving it) riding bikes and doing crunches. Also, letting go of all of it for college and part of her 20s and finally how she made a triumphant return to a healthy lifestyle and completely transformed! Eugene breaks down his grueling shooting schedule and how having little to time for exercise affected him. He wasn't able train as much as he wanted but did he stick to his diet??     Stanger is still holding it down and he's joined this week by the awesome Jon Mackey (Big Grande, The Teachers Lounge) This is the second time in The Weight Room for Mackey and be delivers! He and Stanger do a quick recap on what they discussed on his first episode. Mackey has made an incredible fitness transformation and it's still going - he's currently down 100lbs! He tells Stanger how he shifted from doing DDP Yoga at home to training 4 days a week at the gym. Mackey learned how to lift from DIY videos on YouTube and he's got some great tips on how to get started. He and Stanger round out their discussion with Mackey's common sense approach to nutrition and they answer a listener question about how to put on muscle.
